What's Included
Each registered participant receives a Smile & Shine gift box delivered directly to them. The box will contain a special crown, sash, award certificate, goodies, and a little bit of Smile & Shine magic.

No travel needed!
Get ready to cozy up and participate with Smile & Shine at home! Skip the stage and complete your checklist from wherever you are. We will drop off local boxes and mail those outside of HRM! We are accepting submissions from anyone within Canada at the time, but pending postal code - registrants outside of Atlantic Canada are subject to a slight additional shipping surcharge.
Age Groups: 0-23 months, 2-3 years, 4-6 years, 7-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-18 years, 19-22 years, 23-30 years, 30+ years
(age groups subject to change)
Each age group will have an overall royalty determined by our special judges that receives a royalty crown and royalty sash in their box. All participants receive a crown and sash in their box.
I'm new to Smile & Shine, what can I expect?
Our pageants are a positive, safe, and welcoming experience for all ages and abilities, with a focus on confidence, kindness, creativity, and, most importantly, having fun and being yourself.
There’s no pressure to be perfect, just an opportunity to celebrate who you are, share your shine, and this time; shine from the comfort of home!
Timeline
September 13 - October 25: Registration Open
October 31: All Submissions Due
November 1 - 15: Submissions reviewed by judges
November 22 - November 30: Boxes delivered/mailed
FAQ
Q: What ages do you accept?
A: We are open to all ages!
Q: Do I need any experience?
A: No experience necessary!
Q: Can I use my phone to record?
A: Absolutely! We will share a Google Drive link that you can upload your submissions too.
Q: How long are the videos?
A: Videos will be short and sweet! An intro should be no longer than 45 seconds and the question video should be no longer than 1-2 minutes.
Q: Do I have to live in Atlantic Canada?
A: We are accepting registrations from anyone within Canada at this time. Due to the postal distance fees, registrations from provinces outside of Atlantic Canada are subject to a slight shipping increase charge pending shipping postal code.
