Dive down under the sea and join us for the 'Under the Sea' Pageant hosted by Smile & Shine Pageantry.

Under the Sea Pageant
Age Categories
♢ 0-23 months ♢ 2-3 ♢ 4-5 ♢ 6-8 ♢ 9-11 ♢ 12-14 ♢ 15-17 ♢ 18-21 ♢
Every participant will receive a crown & an age appropriate gift bag, there will be one overall 'royalty' in each age category that will receive a crown, sash, & gift bag
Categories
Formal Wear
In the Formal Wear category, participants should wear something elegant such as a party dress with ballet flats, sandals or dress shoes or a shirt & tie with dress shoes. Participants are welcome to wear tiny heels if they wish to and are comfortable in them.

Casual Wear
In the Casual Wear category, participants should wear something they can shine their personality in.
This could be their favorite outfit, or a special outfit they pick out.

Under the Sea Theme Outfit
Create an outfit that matches the 'Under the Sea' theme. This can consist of multiple articles of clothing from your closet or let your creativity shine to bring your idea to life
*Please no bathing suits for theme wear!*

Please note:
We do not want you to stress about going out to stores buying fancy expensive dresses/outfits.
Consider using local resources- Thrift stores are great, your local 'Buy Nothing' page, Facebook Marketplace, or borrow clothing from family/friends, etc.
Stage Walk
For each category, participants will walk on stage showcasing their outfits and personalities.
This will consist of a "T" walk, with each X being a pause/pose.
Enter/Exit sides are subject to change based on venue set up. It will be confirmed before pageant day, which side participants will be entering/exiting on.
Talent (Optional Add-On)
Participants can choose to add on a category to showcase their talent.
Dancing, singing, playing a musical instrument, joke telling, martial arts, or any other hidden talent
that they may want to showcase to our judges!
Talent will run in three separate age groups, there will be a top award for each age group.
● 4-8 ● 9-14 ● 15-21 ●
(Talent is judged and awarded separately from the main pageant categories)
All participants will receive a medal for participating.
Music (if required) for talent is to be submitted at least 1 week before pageant.
Makeup guidelines
When it comes to pageantry makeup, the goal is to enhance your natural beauty. We do not recommend "Glitz & Glam" style, we want the individuals to come as they feel comfortable. While makeup is NOT required, this might include their daily 'natural' makeup routine, or they are welcome to wear light blush and/or lip gloss if they wish.
Introduction
Participants 4+ years will give a brief introduction before doing their formal wear walk on stage. This should include their name, age, something they like to do, and/or a fun fact about them.
On-Stage Question
Participants 4+ years will be asked an age appropriate question before doing their 'Casual Wear' walk on stage. There will be an age category list of question examples provided to practice prior to pageant day.
Judges
Our judges panel will consist of 2-3 judges. The judges will evaluate participants poise, confidence, personality, etc.

REGISTRATION FEES
Main Pageant Registration Fee: $150
Optional Talent Add-On: $25
A $50 Non-Refundable deposit (which goes towards your main fee)
is due at time of registration to secure your spot
